Yael Stone
Stone was born in Sydney and grew up in the city. She attended the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) and in the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began acting as when she was a young person, appearing in the film Me Myself I and the mini-series The Farm. The main area of her work was theater. She won the title of Best Newcomer during the Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and the title of Best Supporting actress in The Kid. Also, she appeared on television as a supporting actress in All Saints and Spirited. In 2010, she starred on stage in The Diary of a Madman. The role won her another nomination in the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting Actress. The Diary of a Madman was performed by an ensemble of the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. In March 2011, she returned Sydney to play the leading parts as a lead actress in A Golem Story (a story about the life of a golem), Summer of the Seventeenth Doll and As You Like It.
